Margot gets her skates on for the big Bafta bash

-

THE Bafta party crown was last night back in the hands of Charles Finch, left. With Harvey Weinstein persona-non-grata following a string of sexual harassment allegations, film entrepreneur Finch – the man with more front than Harrods – is now the host-in-chief.

Stars who flocked to Mayfair nightclub Mark’s Club for his pre-awards Chanel dinner included Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, and actors Hugh Grant and Kristin Scott Thomas. But the star attraction was Australian bombshell Margot Robbie, right, who is among the favourites to claim the best actress gong tonight for her role in I, Tonya.

The film charts the downfall of former Olympic ice-skater Tonya Harding. FASHION maverick Isabella Blow inspired countless designers during her extraordinary life, and now her secret diaries are the source for a pop song from beyond the grave. Singer Coco 7, left, was given a glimpse of the recently discovered journal for the recording – and was even lent a hat for the accompanying video by Isabella’s protege, Royal milliner Philip Treacy. I got to see the journal myself last week, and it is a rare find, according to Isabella’s widower Detmar. ‘Isabella was, alas, pretty efficient at destroying her diaries,’ he says. The diary, which details her long battle with depression before her suicide in 2007, is set to be auctioned. BROOKLYN Beckham is planning to quit his photography course at New York’s prestigious Parsons School of Design and set up home with Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz. The couple, right, have been discussing a move to Los Angeles as Chloe, 21, needs to be there for her film career. Brooklyn, 18, need not worry about his career suffering too much if he drops out – he’s already shot a Burberry campaign and last year released a book called What I See. Mum Victoria has also lined him up as the Spice Girls’ official tour snapper. With nepotism like that, who needs a degree?
