MANAGER John Coleman was pleased with Accrington’s second-half rally after they came from behind to draw. He said: ‘That might turn out to be a good point for us, so I can’t complain. We were disappoint­ing in the first half, when we didn’t create enough at all. Our second-half performanc­e was far better, though. We battered them at times.’ A second-half penalty from Billy Kee (above) earned Accrington their point after Alex Nicholls had put Barnet in front.

SWINDON 3 PORT VALE 2

SUB Paul Mullin scored a late winner for promotion-chasing Swindon. Marc Richards had earlier scored twice with Cristian Montano and Michael Tonge replying for Vale.

CAMBRIDGE 3 GRIMSBY 1

CAMBRIDGE came out on top in the meeting of two managerles­s sides. Uche Ikpeazu, Billy Waters and George Maris had the home side 3-0 up before a last-minute Grimsby penalty, converted by JJ Hooper, reduced the deficit.

STEVENAGE 4 YEOVIL 1

STEVENAGE snapped out of their losing streak with a first win in five league games. Luke Amos, Jon Smith, Danny Newton and Ben Kennedy got the goals. Ryan Seager replied.

CARLISLE 2 CHESTERFIE­LD 0

CARLISLE manager Keith Curle admitted: ‘It wasn’t entertaini­ng or free-flowing, but sometimes you have to tough it out.’ Goals from Kelvin Etuhu and John O’Sullivan made it four straight defeats for Chesterfie­ld.

NOTTS boss Kevin Nolan was furious with referee Robert Lewis. He said: ‘When the referee keeps saying he got this decision and that decision wrong, what can you do?’

ADEBAYO AKINFENWA scored one and made the other for Paris Cowan-Hall as Wycombe moved up to second. It completed a good week after they rejected a bid for boss Gareth Ainsworth, believed to have been from Barnsley.

MORECAMBE 1 FOREST GREEN 1

A LAST-GASP goal from Gregg Wylde earned Morecambe a point. Chris Clements had put Forest Green ahead from longrange before Wylde marked his home debut in fine style.

CRAWLEY 3 LINCOLN 1

CRAWLEY recorded five straight home wins for the first time in the league. Jimmy Smith, Josh Payne (penalty) and Paul Connolly got their goals, with Matt Green replying for Lincoln, who had boss Danny Cowley sent to the stands.

EXETER 0 MANSFIELD 1

MANSFIELD manager Steve Evans could not hide his delight after a promotion six-pointer. He said: ‘It is a fantastic result against an excellent side.’ Danny Rose got the only goal.

CREWE 1 COLCHESTER 0

CREWE ended a six-game winless run as Shaun Miller’s goal clinched victory over Colchester, but manager Dave Artell admitted: ‘We played far better than we did in the game at Accrington on Tuesday, but lost.’
