The Queen is the final Royal to arrive, minutes before the bride.

11.59AM:

Meghan will arrive at the chapel, having been driven from her secret overnight accommodation. She and her mother Doria Ragland will take a route through the Long Walk – so that she can wave to public well-wishers. Ms Ragland will enter the chapel ahead of Meghan who will meet her bridesmaids and then, at the West Steps, her father, Thomas Markle Snr, who will walk her down the aisle.

NOON:

The hour-long service begins.

3 1PM:

Harry and Meghan will exit through the West entrance of the chapel. The grand steps there will be lined by members of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment. Members of the Queen’s Guard will line streets within the Castle. The newlyweds will then enter an Ascot Landau carriage for a 25-minute procession along Castle Hill, the High Street and the town centre before returning along tree-lined Long Walk for their reception. Guests will walk from the chapel to the luncheon at St George’s Hall.

5.30PM:

The FA Cup Final kicks off – with wedding preparations understood to have been made around the match. The couple leave to drive to Frogmore House on the estate for a reception hosted by Prince Charles for 200 guests.

5 7PM:

1 The West Steps, where Meghan will enter the chapel.

2 The Royal Family will enter via the Galilee Porch.

3 The nave – where most of the guests will sit – will be the best place to spot celebrities such as George Clooney and David Beckham.

4 Guests will enter via the South Door having travelled from the Round Tower.

5 Just before Meghan reaches the altar, she will walk over a massive vault containing the remains of King Henry VIII, his third wife Jane Seymour, and King Charles I.

6 The Quire, where the more important members of the congregation will sit. The Queen and other key members of the Royal Family sit to the right of the altar.

7 The altar where the Archbishop of Canterbury will marry the happy couple.

8 Behind the altar of St George’s Chapel is the East Window, unveiled at the wedding of Prince Albert, the Prince of Wales, and Princess Alexandra in 1863.

9 The West Window, said to be the third-largest in England, contains 75 panes, many pre-1509.
