DAVID DAVIS will this week mount a bid to ‘get fit again’ with a gruelling hike in the Lake District. The Brexiteer aims to climb 29,000ft in five days. A friend said that because Mr Davis ‘hasn’t had a holiday for years, he hasn’t been able to do his normal summer walking’, adding: ‘He’s at least a stone overweight.’
