Sunderland’s a wonderland for under-30s
FORGET London – the best place in Britain for young people to live and work is Sunderland, says new research.
Leeds and Aberdeen are next in the survey, which considered factors such as living costs, happiness and crime rates.
The only place in the South to appear in the top ten was Milton Keynes, which came fourth.
The Liveability Index of places with populations above 200,000 found nearly half of young people (46 per cent) would move to live in a more affordable area.
