Deaths of flat plunge couple ‘suspicious’
THE deaths of two people who fell from the eighth floor of a block of flats are being treated as suspicious, police said yesterday.
Renata Poncova and Tony Taylor, both 33, died from multiple injuries after plunging from the block in Camberwell, South London, on November 2.
Detectives said yesterday that they had uncovered evidence at the flat and there were reports of a possible disturbance at the property before they fell. Both Ms Poncova and Mr Taylor were pronounced dead at the scene.
Det Insp Phil Coster said: ‘I need to speak with anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious during or leading up to the deaths.’
