Beaten war hero, 98, dies
A 98-YEAR-OLD man who was savagely attacked by burglars for his £10 TV has died in hospital.
War hero Peter Gouldstone was dragged from his bed, punched in the face and left with bleeding on the brain after the assault last month at his home in Enfield, North London. Detective Inspector Paul Ridley, who called the attack ‘despicable’, urged anyone with information to contact police.
A £10,000 reward from Crimestoppers has been offered.
