Davina McCall: I’ll still wear a bikini even when I’m 90
SHE was viciously trolled for being ‘too thin’ when she posted a snap of herself on social media aged 50, flaunting her washboard stomach. But in a typically fiery response today, TV star Davina McCall hits back at her critics and declares: ‘I’m going to wear a bikini when I’m 90!’
In an exclusive interview with The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine, the former Big Brother host says she refuses to be cowed by online abuse.
Davina reveals her reaction is to say: ‘OK, you think I’m too thin? I’m going to post a lot more pictures of myself in bikinis. That’s what I’m like. Tell me not to do something and I’m going to do it.’
Describing herself as ‘half

The mother-of-three has endured a traumatic time over recent years. Her half-sister Caroline died following a short battle with cancer in 2012, her father Andrew was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2016, and last year she and her husband Matthew Robertson divorced after 17 years of marriage.
In addition to her TV work, Davina, 51, has carved out a successful career as a fitness guru. But she denies that staying trim is a ‘vanity project’. She says: ‘I see it as a “stay alive as long as you can” project.
‘I think when you’re in your 20s and 30s, you’re thinking, “I want to wear a strapless dress and for my arms to not wibble wobble”.
‘When you get to 50 it’s more, “I don’t want to get heart disease, I want to keep my cholesterol low, I want my blood pressure to be good.” ’
