Twins’ murders: Woman charged

A WOMAN has appeared in court accused of murdering her twins on Boxing Day.

Samantha Ford was arrested after Jake and Chloe, both aged 23 months, were found dead at a house in Margate in the early hours of Thursday.

Kent Police said the 37-yearold had been involved in a car crash about 45 minutes before the twins were found.

Officers had visited the home over concerns for the welfare of its occupants, police added.

Mrs Ford was then taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Yesterday, she appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court charged with murder. She will appear at Maidstone Crown Court tomorrow.
