In your article last week ‘Britain’s worst tax scrooges revealed’ you claimed that SEGRO paid no tax last year. In 2018, SEGRO paid £16 million to HMRC in various taxes. When SEGRO converted to REIT (real estate investment trust) status it paid approximat­ely £90 million to HMRC.
