Minnows put their shirt on Andy

ANDY MURRAY has been wearing littleknown clothing brand Castore, based in Chester and founded by two brothers from the Wirral, Phil and Tom Beahon.

Murray’s contract with Under Armour expires on Tuesday and it is thought he may swap one the global apparel giants to wear Castore, possibly in return for equity in the company. Murray has a keen interest in investing in smaller companies.

Tom was a reserve team player for Tranmere ere Rovers before starting up a company in the expanding area of athletic wear.

Their products are not cheap, with a pair of socks at £18 and a T-shirt for £80.
