Gen­er­ally mild but blus­tery. Strong winds, es­pe­cially in Scot­land and the North. Show­ers in places, but it will grad­u­ally turn drier as the day pro­gresses. How­ever, for North Scot­land and the West the show­ers will per­sist. Bright spells will de­velop, es­pe­cially in the East. Ex­ten­sive cloud else­where.

Mid­lands, East An­glia, North East: Dull start with light show­ers, drier later. Windy in the North. Wind NW fresh to strong. Max 12C 54F.

North West, Wales: Windy with show­ers. Cloudy with some brighter spells in places. Wind NW fresh to strong. Max 12C 54F.

Scot­land: Wet and windy. How­ever, parts of the South and East will stay largely dry. Wind W to NW strong. Max 12C 54F.

North­ern Ire­land, Eire: Over­cast and dull, with light rain and drizzle. Turn­ing drier by evening. Wind W fresh or strong. Max 12C 54F.

WEEK AHEAD

Largely dry and less windy to­mor­row, with some iso­lated light show­ers. Some win­try show­ers in Scot­land, es­pe­cially in the North. Wet by mid­week, with scat­tered heavy show­ers mov­ing across the coun­try. Largely dry with misty starts for Eng­land by the end of the week. Else­where it will be wet.
