How Harry found his perfect match

It was so heartwarming to read the article in last week’s You magazine about I’m A celebrity winner Harry Redknapp and his wife Sandra (pictured above). They have a real respect for one another and that is to be applauded. It’s a rarity in today’s age of disposable relationships.

Hats off to them and long may their marriage continue.

I am a recently widowed woman but I was also lucky enough to have known such a love. So how do I cope? I am blessed with many active friends who keep me young.

My husband and I stayed in love despite some tough times – we lost our first-born just before he was two. The saying ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ certainly describes those times. Dolores Powell, Oldland Common, Bristol Sandra must be a saint for not even shouting at her husband when he accidentally ran her over.
