Everton selling on cheap
EVERTON are ready to offload over £60million worth of signings this month as they listen to offers for Cenk Tosun, Oumar Niasse and Morgan Schneiderlin. Tosun, signed a year ago for £27m, will be allowed to go for £20m this month while Niasse and Schneiderlin, who cost £13.5m and £20m respectively, can also go for cut-price fees.
Crystal Palace, Fulham and Cardiff have shown interest in Everton’s strikers but not at the current asking price while Schneiderlin had tentative interest from Roma. Midfielder James McCarthy is also pushing for first-team football after recovering from injury, while highly-rated 20-year-old midfielder Beni Baningime is also keen to play more.
MANCHESTER UNITED’S young centre-back Regan Poole is wanted on loan by his former club Newport County.
Poole, 20, joined United in 2015 for an initial £100,000 after becoming the youngest player to play for Newport at 16 years and 94 days. He has been capped 15 times by Wales at Under-21 level and had a spell on loan at Northampton Town last season.
CHELSEA have been approached about taking Adrien Rabiot from Paris Saint-Germain.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino had been linked with the 23-year-old midfielder, but Spurs have other priorities should they strengthen in the window and will not be pursuing a deal.
Rabiot is out of contract in the summer but available now as PSG look to bring in another midfielder.
