Cotswolds millionaire Dunkerton is no stranger to the headlines:
2003 Sets up Superdry with co-founder James Holder. The pair’s products soon find favour with celebrities including David Beckham.
2010 Firm floats on London Stock Exchange at £5 per share. Founders and other stakeholders net £105 million. Peter Bamford is appointed chairman.
2014 Euan Sutherland is hired as chief executive, Dunkerton steps down from the role in early 2015 but stays as a director.
April 2018 Dunkerton leaves Superdry to concentrate on his other business interests.
