What a joke, John

John Cleese would never make my list of favourite comedy actors. However, reading your report last week that Mr Cleese claims stem-cell therapy has left him looking younger than his 79 years did make me laugh. To take him seriously on the subject of the benefits of stem-cell therapy, he would need to have claimed that the therapy made him look younger than 97. Chris Hyland, Northampton
