System has failed poor Nina

I was horrified to read last week about Nina Thair, who has been confined to an old folk’s home aged just 46 due to her multiple sclerosis. It’s absolutely disgusting to place a young person into an elderly persons’ care home. Her needs are completely different. The system has certainly failed her. What about her human rights? I sincerely hope changes are made as soon as possible and more suitable accommodation is found.

The local authority where I come from adapted an over-60s bungalow from their housing stock for a young lady in a similar situation. Why can’t Brighton council do that for Nina?
