Hero Henman could seal tournament’s fate

-

TIM HENMAN, once the golden boy of the Centre Court, will be among the 12 men and women deciding the fate of this year’s Wimbledon, where his successor Andy Murray had hoped to return after his injury problems.

The former British No 1 sits on the All-England Club’s committee alongside Tony Blair’s former cabinet secretary Lord Gus O’Donnell, another ex-tennis player and chief executive of the 2015 Rugby World Cup Debbie Jevans, and Henry Weatherill, son of the late speaker of the House of Commons, Bernard Weatherill.
