New love for Savannah as her pal dates her husband!
FASHION designer Savannah Miller – the sister of Hollywood actress Sienna – teased the world last month with a shadowy picture of her and her new lover holding hands on a country walk with their dogs, Tipsy and Stan.
Now I can reveal the mystery man is Jim Whewell, the wealthy heir to the 800-acre Wyresdale Park Estate in Lancaster.
Meanwhile, Savannah’s aristocratic best chum Ruth Guise, 48, is now dating Savannah’s estranged husband Nick Skinner.
To make things even more complicated, Ruth is the sister-in-law of Savannah’s new man.
Savannah, 41, explained: ‘ We [Nick and I] separated in February 2018 – neither of them needed to ask my permission to get together. As always, the wellbeing of the children is all of our priority.’
It seems the relationship between her and Jim has gone from strength to strength during lockdown at Savannah’s country house in the Cotswolds, with Jim getting involved in home-schooling, helping one of Sav’s three children with a science project.
Softly spoken with i mpeccable manners, Jim runs a lucrative wedding business from his family seat, promoting trendy eco-weddings where guests stay in yurts.
An insider said: ‘Sav and Nick just fell out of love. Their relationship was on the rocks for a l o ng t i me before they separated but they are the best of friends now.’ Free-spirited mother-of-one Ruth is the daughter of Sir Christopher Guise, and, like Savannah, runs her own fashion label. Nick once escaped the clutches of a Costa Rican cult and now enjoys what friends describe as an alternative lifestyle.
