TalkTalk’s chairman and founder Charles Dunstone bought 1 million shares in the telecoms group on Monday at 86p each, taking his year-to-date total of purchases to £2.26 million. In January TalkTalk sold its fibre division to CityFibre for £200 million and used the money to pay down debt.
