Moss the model mum! Kate and daughter Lila,17 share a tender holiday moment
BRITONS are being urged to go back to work – but that looks like the last thing on Kate Moss’s mind as she enjoys a luxurious beach holiday with her teenage daughter.
The one-time party girl shows that nowadays she’s a model mum, cradling Lila Grace’s face in a tender moment, sharing a laugh over images on her phone, and enjoying a jetski ride together on the pristine Balearic waters.
But the 46-year-old catwalk queen never takes a vacation from glamour, and cut a stunning image in her black halterneck swimsuit as she soaked up the sun on the tiny island of S’Espalmador, south of Ibiza.
Kate and her 17-year-old daughter – who is following her into the modelling business – are holidaying with Kate’s boyfriend, photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck, 33, after spending lockdown together in the Cotswolds.
During their break, they have also been pictured with singer Rita Ora, 29, who, along with Lila Grace, is signed to Kate’s eponymous talent agency.
The fashion queen had also been s pott ed s moking a ci garette, although that’s a rare slip from her now-healthy lifestyle.
She has long put the riotous nights with the infamous Primrose Hill Set behind her, and now starts her days with yoga and ends them by watching Netflix. ‘I go to bed, I drink lots of water, not too much coffee and I’m trying to cut down on cigarettes,’ she has said.
Kate and Lila Grace, whose father is magazine publisher Jefferson Hack, are holidaying on the Spanish island where Prince William is said to have wooed the Duchess of Cambridge. And if they had any concerns about having to quarantine when they return to the UK, they did not show it.
Kate and Lila Grace appeared inseparable during their holiday, which is testimony to the supermodel’s mothering skills. Asked for tips a few years ago, Kate said the key to parenting girls was to ‘scare them otherwise they will take over’.
‘I’m really strict but I think they quite l i ke i t,’ she added. ‘ Lila Grace says that I’m stricter than other parents.’
And Lila Grace, Kate’s only child, has revealed that they share makeup tips.
Mum’s advice, she explained, was that ‘less is more’, while Lila Grace said she had to teach Kate about the fine art of contouring.
