So much for stretched police
In response to your report on the church service raided by nine police officers who thought it was in breach of Covid rules, this incident was never going to be a real crime and one constable could and should have dealt with it.
We keep hearing how stretched the police are. They should be using their resources to catch hardened criminals.

A police chief said officers had ‘misunderstood the legislation’. If the police do not know the Covid laws, how are we expected to?
