FAMILY: Married with five children between 12 and 25. VEHICLE: A Vespa, left, and a Lambretta he’s had since he was 20. ‘I drive around on them and do all that kind of daft stuff that any bloke with a midlife crisis indulges in,’ he jests.

INTERESTS: ‘I was brought up in Liverpool and me and my brother used to get packed off to my grandmother’s in Rhyll, North Wales. One day we found a cassette of The Jam’s Sound Affects – which in my humble opinion was their greatest ever album. We legged it back to my nan’s, put it on and from that day we were hooked into music.’
