JOHNNY SEXTON is confident Ireland can return to the top table of international rugby after ending a challenging 2020 by finishing third in the Autumn Nations Cup with a 31-16 win against Scotland.

Australia and Argentina battled out a 16-16 draw in Sydney to conclude the Tri-Nations Series as New Zealand were confirmed as champions. Australia had the chance to seal victory with a last- gasp penalty but Reece Hodge missed his kick.
