Man arrested after teenager is fatally stabbed

A 25-YEAR-OLD man was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder after a boy was stabbed to death near London City Airport.

Police were called at around 7pm on Friday to Woodman Street, Newham, and found the boy, believed to be 15, who was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was arrested at a local property at 5am yesterday.

In West London, a 17-year-old male was in hospital yesterday after being found in Hounslow with a stab wound and injuries from a corrosive substance on Friday. In Islington, North London, police seized 31 knives as they arrested two boys, aged 16 and 15, on Thursday.
