The Real Full Monty: On Ice
ITV, 9pm
Anyone who’s ever taken a tumble while skating knows how painful it can be. But how much worse would it feel if you hit the ice while wearing almost nothing at all?
That’s the danger facing a dozen stars, who will be stripping off in a new format of the show, in which celebrities do a ‘Full Monty’ to promote cancer awareness. Ashley Banjo (right) is leading the troupe – half of whom will be skating for the first time as they endure months of practice in the first of two episodes.
Radio broadcaster Jenni Murray, ex-model Linda Lusardi, rugby legend Gareth Thomas, Hollyoaks’ Jamie Lomas, The X Factor’s Jake Quickenden and Grand National-winning jockey Bob Champion are among those preparing to leave very little to the imagination. On Tuesday night they are joined by Dancing On Ice professionals for the big show. ★★★★☆
