Michael Palin’s Himalaya: Journey Of A Lifetime

BBC2, 8pm Following the success of his recent series, in which he looked back at several of his travelogues, the former Monty Python star (below) returns for a new one-off show. This time he’s examining his 2004 trip to the Himalayas, which saw him achieve a childhood dream inspired by Sir Edmund Hilary’s ascent of Everest. Palin reached Base Camp as well as touring Pakistan, India, Tibet and Nepal.
