Mary Cooper’s Drama: From Shore To Shore (Radio 4, 2.15pm) stars Ozzie Yue and is inspired by stories from Chinese communities living in the UK, particularly those based in Leeds and other areas of West Yorkshire.

In Can I Talk About Heroes? (Radio 4, 8pm) poet Vicky Foster looks at the way society creates heroes and asks whether the meaning of the label has changed during the pandemic.
