Christmas concussion flashback

I AM grateful to John Armstrong from Bangor in Northern Ireland for sending a picture of a page of this column from an edition of The Mail on Sunday in March 2016.

The column warned of a day of reckoning coming for contact sports over their attitude towards concussionrelated injuries.

I would like to be able to report that Mr Armstrong had been poring over the piece at regular intervals but he said he had unfurled the page when he was unwrapping his Christmas decorations. At least it’s a step up from tomorrow’s fish and chip paper.
