Brilliant but sadly overlooked comedy
In 2017, Robert Webb and David Mitchell (above with, from left, Geoff McGivern, Penny Downie and Louise Brealey) appeared in a black comedy about the tension-filled reunion between a misfit (played by Webb) and the family he was fostered by as a child – who all welcome him back, except for one, the suspicious and jealous brother, played by Mitchell. It’s brilliantly inventive, run through with Mitchell and Webb’s dark humour. Yet it disappeared without a trace. However, a second run is imminent, so now’s your chance to unearth a forgotten gem.
