MIDFIELDER George Thomson notched a goal in each half for Harrogate as they won at 10-man Oldham. Conor McAleny scored a penalty for the hosts, who saw striker Bobby Grant shown a red card following an aerial clash.

ROB KELLY said he was happy to hand over the Barrow reins to Michael Jolley after their win. ‘The players have worked hard,’ he said. Scott Quigley and Patrick Brough scored the goals.
