Shark has Covid
LEGENDARY Australian golf er Greg Norman has been hospitalised with Covid-19.
Norman, affectionately nicknamed ‘Great White Shark’, confirmed the diagnosis in an Instagram post on Christmas Day.
Alongside a photo of himself in hospital (above), the 65-year-old wrote: ‘This sums it all up. My Christmas Day. On behalf of millions, f*** Covid. Get this s*** behind us never to experience it again.’
Ian Poulter was among those who sent messages to Norman, wishing him a ‘speedy recovery’. Norman won the Open Championship in 1986 and 1993 and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2001.
