Leeds v Burnley West Ham v Brighton Liverpool v West Brom Wolves v Tottenham

-

Elland Road 12pm

WHICH Leeds will turn up — the Marcelo Bielsa side that hit five past Newcastle or the one that let in six at Manchester United? If anyone is capable of dampening the goalfest, it’s Sean Dyche’s Burnley — their past 10 games have yielded only 16 goals in total. They look as solid as ever with Ben Mee and James Tarkowski in form.

WATCH OUT FOR: NICK POPE

(Burnley) Pope is in a position to put pressure on Jordan Pickford and become England’s No 1 before the Euros next summer. He is in commanding form at the moment.

London Stadium, 2.15pm

DAVID MOYES is getting a little tetchy with match officials, a sure sign he’s got his mojo back at West Ham, who have been a welcome surprise this season. Add Michail Antonio into the mix and you’ve got a proper team. Brighton’s goal problems are bordering on chronic with only three in five games. They are too reliant on Danny Welbeck.

WATCH OUT FOR: DECLAN RICE

(West Ham) The one guaranteed outfield starter in Gareth Southgate’s England team. Has worn the Hammers armband at the age of 21, not as a gimmick but fully on merit.

Anfield, 4.30pm

IF Sam Allardyce can pull off another win at Anfield, it will be an even bigger shock than 2017 when his Palace team were the last to win there. But striker Karlan Grant has not scored in eight games. Liverpool’s red machine is incredible. It was said they couldn’t do it without Virgil van Dijk. That’s been proved wrong with Fabinho and Joel Matip stepping up.

WATCH OUT FOR:

ROBERTO FIRMINO (Liverpool) Three goals in two games represents a goal glut for the Brazilian who has stepped up since Diogo Jota’s injury created anxiety.

Molineux, 7.15pm

NUNO Espirito Santo’s criticism of referee Lee Mason will put tonight’s official Paul Tierney in the spotlight. Jose Mourinho went closer to home for his own stinging rebuke — Dele Alli getting both barrels for losing the ball. Talk of a Spurs title charge has slowed after two defeats but there is nothing to suggest their main men will stop scoring.

WATCH OUT FOR: LUCAS MOURA

(Tottenham) Spurs have won the last two at Molineux since Wolves returned to the top flight and Moura has scored in both. He could get the nod in the XI today.
