BBC1, 8pm It’s not just humans who were glad to get a haircut after lockdown – many of our furry friends were ready for a trim too. Now Sheridan Smith (above) and her fluffy co-host Stanley are celebrating the nation’s doggroomers with this competition to find Britain’s best. The competition begins as contestants work their magic on a long-haired shih tzu and then give four curly canines a teddy-bear trim. ★★★☆☆
