Stunner seals Blades’ worst start since 1902

ROY HODGSON hailed the Eberechi Eze wonder goal that sealed Palace’s win.

Eze produced an audacious finish from the edge of the box at the end of a run that began in his own half.

Hodgson said: ‘The one... by Eberechi was a fantastic run from his own half and a wonderful burst forward and a very composed finish. It came at just the right time, that it made the second half a little bit less hairy than it might have been.’

United boss Chris Wilder criticised the defending for the goal and questioned if it should have stood as Eze netted after five minutes of first-half added time was up.
