Brighton close in on Caicedo

BRIGHTON are closing in on the £4.5million signing of coveted Ecuador international Moises Caicedo after having an offer accepted.

The 19-year old from I ndependiente del Valle, in Ecuador, is due to undergo a medical before committing to the Seagulls after negotiations intensified on Friday.

Several Premier League clubs — including Manchester United and Chelsea — had expressed interest in the midfielder. West Ham, Everton and Newcastle also opened talks over a deal.
