BABY DONE Dark comedy barks up the right tree

Taika Waititi, of Jojo Rabbit fame, serves as executive producer here and brings his influence to bear in this darkly funny tale of an Auckland tree surgeon who lives for adventure and tree-climbing competitions… until she finds herself pregnant. Together with boyfriend Tim, she defiantly plans a bucket list of things to do before she gives birth. Lightweight, a tad uneven but laugh-out-loud funny at times.
