Katie Price: Harvey And Me

BBC1, 8.30pm Katie Price has long laid her life open to the cameras – whether it be for photoshoots or reality television series – but in this documentary following her and son Harvey (right) over the past few months she reveals a loving mother very different from her familiar publicity-seeking persona.

As he turns 18, Harvey is beginning adulthood but, afflicted by a rare genetic condition, he has the intellect of a sevenyear-old, anger issues and is extremely obese. The concern that Price feels for him is constantly obvious, but equally palpable is her delight in his moments of happiness.

As the two of them explore how he might achieve some degree of independence, they also meet families with children who have conditions similar to Harvey’s and share with them affecting moments that overshadow the notion of celebrity for which Price is famous.
