Broad: Keep the bouncer

STUART Broad believes the bouncer must stay, to stop Test cricket becoming predictable — and that the focus should be on improving a batsman’s protective gear.

The Government begin a summit into brain injuries in sport on Tuesday and Broad said: ‘I am 100 per cent behind doing research to try to make the game as safe as possible but I think it’s very hard to completely rid yourself of all risk in sport.’
