And now we know who makes us laugh the most – Jimmy Carr. A study of 120 volunteers found they giggled out loud for a total of four minutes and 46 seconds during one hour of the 48-yearold’s stand-up show.

The host of TV quiz 8 Out Of 10 Cats came top of a list of 20, beating Peter Kay ( 4m 38s), Jack Whitehall ( 3m 59s) and Michael McIntyre (3m 53s).

Bottom of the table were Sarah Millican (2m 4s) and Welshman Rhod Gilbert (1m 50s), the study by online marketplace OnBuy. com found.
