Had a jab ‘miracle’? Tell me!

-

JUST like everyone during this pandemic-induced lockdown, I’ve felt in severe need of something positive to focus on. And a letter I received last week provided it. A reader said he’d felt lingering fatigue, aches and pains ever since contracting Lyme disease two years ago, but four days after having the Covid jab, he’d woken up to find these symptoms had vanished.

He called it his ‘Covid-19 surprise’, and it’s not as bonkers as it sounds.

Vaccines have what are known as ‘non-specific effects’ with, for example, people who have been vaccinated against things like tuberculosis and measles having fewer other illnesses. It could be because vaccines give the immune system a rev-up and this has knock-on benefits.

So how have you felt since having the vaccine? Was it a small scrap of joy amid the gloom, or has something more miraculous happened? Write to me and let me know.
