( 2018) Channel 4, 9pm Director Lenny Abrahamson’s followup to Room is an impressive gothic melodrama based on Sarah Waters’ novel. Set in 1948, it stars Domhnall Gleeson (above) as a doctor whose past could be fatally linked to a dark secret that haunts the walls of a seemingly cursed mansion.
