Why all the top dogs go to Swansea

THE UK town where dogs have more reason to wag their tails with joy than anywhere else has been revealed in a new study.

The survey found that the Welsh city of Swansea has the country’s most canine-friendly environment, thanks to the high number of parks, grooming salons and pet shops.

Swansea polled highest with 333 points out of a possible 500 compared to Oxford at the bottom on just 39 points. Plymouth came second on 318 followed by Manchester, while Blackpool and Belfast made up the remainder of the top five.
