15M REASONS TO CHEER
IT’S been a stunning undertaking, which many cynics thought impossible. By Friday night, since December 8 when the rollout began, 14,556,827 people had received a first Covid jab. So, a triumphant Boris Johnson will have hit his mid-February target of protecting society’s most vulnerable. With most over-70s, NHS and care workers vaccinated, the focus is now on those aged 50 to 69 and younger adults with health issues.
