I HAD

-

my Covid jab on Monday, and even I was impressed by the efficiency of the operation. The whole process took no more than 15 minutes. What I hadn’t anticipated was how rotten it would make me feel. I woke up feeling like I had been run over by a bus, and even now my muscles and joints ache, my head hurts, there’s a ringing in my ears and the spot where the needle went in is sore. Apparently this is quite common with the AstraZeneca jab – the one I received. Nothing to worry about but a reminder that if what I had is effectively miniCovid, you really don’t want the real thing.
