Pukki’s pair lifts Norwich
DANIEL FARKE felt his Norwich side produced the perfect response to a poor run as they climbed top.
The hosts were without a win or a goal in four matches going into the game, and were beaten at promotion rivals Swansea last time out.
However, top scorer Teemu Pukki struck twice in what was Norwich’s biggest win of t he season so far, with Todd Cantwell and Emi Buendia also on target, with Nick Powell’s reply a mere consolation.
‘That was our best offensive performance of the season — it was certainly the most goals we’ve scored,’ he said. ‘ It was a good performance, and I can only pay my compliments to the players.’
Stoke manager Michael O’Neill said: ‘Norwich are a good side, and they showed that again, but we didn’t half give them a helping hand — we got what we deserved.’
