Goldsmith Richard Talman has a tricky assignment when Helle and David arrive with a diamond and sapphire engagement ring that has been passed down three generations. Helle was devastated when it simply fell off her finger, so there was relief when more than a year later it was spotted on a driveway – but it was twisted and missing two gems. Can Richard restore the fragile piece? An electric guitar is also brought in for a new lease of life.
