Gallagher trauma

BLACKBURN striker Sam Gallagher was rushed to hospital yesterday with a suspected punctured lung after coughing up blood during the defeat at Nottingham Forest.

Manager Tony Mowbray said: ‘I’m concerned about Sam. He was coughing blood at halftime. He fell flat on his back. It wasn’t nice to see. The doctor was involved and he was taken to hospital.’

Alex Mighten’s deflected strike was the difference between the two sides.
