Man with the golden smile

-

A BUNGLING smuggler tried to sneak £4,000 worth of gold through customs disguised as false teeth.

The Uzbek national had just landed in Delhi, India, on a flight from Dubai when officials caught him allegedly trying to smuggle the 95 grams of gold moulded into a giant set of dentures.

Customs agents became suspicious of two men as they approached the ‘nothing to declare’ aisle on their way out of Delhi airport. Officials called the pair over and noticed one of the men had a golden smile and on closer examination found his mouth was stuffed with gold.

In addition to the golden dentures, the man had stuffed a gold chain in his mouth as well.
