Relaxing on a £9.6m yacht, a super-rich footballer called Beckham... and his dad
ROMEO BECKHAM sailed into the New Year in style aboard a spectacular yacht with his stunning model girlfriend, Mia Regan.
Instagram photos show the 19-year-olds, who have been dating for two years, lazing on the deck and jokily re-enacting the iconic ‘I’m flying’ scene from the film Titanic.
Romeo also posted images of himself with his parents and siblings on the trip – including a touching one of him and dad David with their arms around each other.
The Riva yacht reportedly cost the Beckhams £9.6million and is named Seven after David’s shirt number at Manchester United.
Romeo, who plays in the junior squad at his father’s football team, Inter Miami CF, has had a remarkable end to 2021, signing a £1.2million deal to become the face of the sports brand Puma.
‘He’s the richest of all David and Victoria’s children and definitely the one to watch,’ said a friend. ‘Romeo is really hard-working and he’s the one most likely to match his parents in terms of success.’
Labelling Romeo and Mia as ‘the Posh and Becks of the TikTok generation’, Miami society writer Lesley Abravanel said: ‘People get excited when they walk into a room, but they are the anti-Kardashians. They don’t flaunt their beauty or fame, they wear it like a well-fitted suit.’ Romeo met Mia, from Chippenham,

he is 3in taller than his father – who is seen laughing as he stands on tiptoes for a photo.
Miami manager Phil Neville, a former team-mate of David’s at Manchester United, said: ‘Romeo has a lot of pressure and expectations on his shoulders but he has got his feet firmly on the ground. He has all the right attributes – character, determination, being a good person. He’s popular in the dressing room. He has an excellent chance of making it in professional football.’

beginners’ salaries, Romeo and Mia enjoy a more glamorous life, living in his parents’ £19million penthouse with sweeping views over the city.
Franco Panizo, host of a Miami podcast, said: ‘Romeo is a work in progress. The club has made an effort to treat him as just one more guy in the team – but obviously he’s not just one more guy.’
